Aqua Scarab Necklace

Our statement hand-carved Scarab pendant presents a contemporary take on the ancient amulet, inspired by the dung beetle, which shared a deep association with the sun God Khepri. As the bearer of each day's sunrise, Khepri imbued the scarab with symbolism representing rebirth, regeneration, and protection.

Scarab amulets were frequently adorned with a diverse array of colored glazes, with shades of blue and green being particularly prevalent. Known as "Egyptian Blue," blue hues were especially popular and symbolized both protection and the Nile River.
