MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES

I. Intro

Daga Jewels is dedicated to crafting timeless treasures of artistry that resonate with history. Every gemstone, gold, and silver used in our creations is responsibly and sustainably acquired from various global vendors.

II. Techniques

Dedicated to preserving ancient craftsmanship, we incorporate Intaglio and Cameo gemstone carving techniques, that have stood the test of time for their intricacy and beauty.

Intaglio and cameo carving techniques have ancient roots dating back to civilizations like Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. Intaglio, with its engraved designs used for seals and jewelry, flourished during the Greco-Roman period. Meanwhile, cameo carving gained popularity in ancient Greece, featuring relief images on layered gemstones. These techniques evolved through the Roman Empire and experienced a revival during the Renaissance. As Daga Jewels our aim is to preserve and innovate these traditions, creating exquisite jewelry and art that honor centuries of craftsmanship and artistic heritage.
